Many housewives, having tried to cook catfish, refuse this dish. And all because preparing it to make it delicious is not so simple. If you don’t know some secrets, catfish can turn into an unattractive mass.

More often than not, all catfish are sold frozen in the form of steaks.

It is fried, boiled, used as a filling for pies. But it is in baked form that this fish turns out to be the most delicious and keeps its shape perfectly.

Thaw fish only at room temperature, in no case without resorting to a microwave or hot water.

Catfish steak is washed and rubbed with herbs, spices and salt. Sprinkle with lemon and leave for at least half an hour so that the fish absorbs the taste and aroma of spices.

Baked steak in sour cream, with vegetables or rice. Baked fish yourself, served with a side dish.

Recipe 1. Catfish steak in the oven in sour cream

Ingredients

catfish - two steaks;

a mixture of seasonings for fish - 30 g;

sour cream - 125 g;

olive oil - 60 ml.

2. Defrost catfish steaks, wash and dry. Salt.

Ingredients

a pinch of sesame;

one catfish steak;

two pinches of a mixture of peppers;

Ingredients

catfish - four steaks;

ground black pepper;

olive oil;

two tomatoes;

cheese - 70 g;

onion - two heads;

butter - 40 g;
