Swedish doctors were able to open a protein that can weaken the work of cancer cells.

In particular, the protein, called MTH1, works only in tumor cells, helping intact cells to survive, working according to the type of virus immunity.

Thus, the discovery was fundamentally new in medicine, because the cell itself was previously suppressed. Now, the protein will protect it. The resulting substance is aimed at destroying the cancer cell from the inside, thus preventing it from adapting to life in the tissues of the body.

Testing was carried out on melanoma cells and showed excellent results. However, scientists say that the study has not yet been completed and a number of tests are required, first in the laboratory and then in the clinical setting.
