In the process of sewing, the following materials will be needed: very dense fabric with a size of 40 cm2., companion fabric with a size of 60/10 cm, two additional companion fabrics of completely different colors for decoration on the sides measuring 25/17 cm, a narrow strip of cotton lace, a hidden zipper 20 cm long., pendant on a slider of secret zippers, threads, scissors, a needle, a sewing machine and, of course, a pattern.
Stages of making cosmetic bags:
1. The example pattern given by hand is redrawn on paper. The width is 20 cm, and the height is 10 cm. The width of the bottom is chosen arbitrarily. The optimum thickness will be 8cm., As in the picture;
2. According to the finished paper pattern, a textile part is made: the left side and the right. It should turn out one part, not two, the sides of which are common on both sides of the center of the future lightning. The width of the cutout for countersunk zippers depends strictly on the width of the zipper teeth. The thing is, the lightning master can be selected with cloves, like a "tractor lock";
3. Next, side inserts are cut out according to the pattern. It is assumed that they are of different color. Allowances for them are taken into account, since the liners will subsequently be bent inward when sewing;
4. According to the finished pattern, the bottom is cut out. It is extended in width and smoothly passes into the side walls of the future product. The side walls are slightly narrowed. In the manufacture of allowances are taken into account;
5. The sewing process begins. First of all, the side liners are sewn to the main product, as in the figure. If you use a very dense fabric for the liner, which does not crumble, you can not bend it inward, but attach and sew a line on top with an indent from the edge of 0.5 cm, exactly as in the picture. Otherwise, the fabric is bent and stitched "with a line 1 mm from the edge";
6. The secret lightning is sewn. Dexterity and the ability to gently scribble on a sewing machine are useful here. First, lightning is simply applied to the future location. It is recommended that 1-2 cm from the teeth manually lay a "stabilizing seam". However, this manipulation can be performed if this seam does not spoil the dense fabric, does not leave unnecessary visible punctures from the needle. Without the “stabilizing seam”, the secret zipper is sewn in this way - by eye. The sewing machine is given a slow sewing mode and gradually: centimeter by centimeter the original task is performed;
7. It is the turn of sewing the bottom. The cut-out part is plucked with ordinary clothespins for convenience, as shown in the figure. Future connecting stitch will pass on the front side of the product, not on the wrong side. Optionally, this condition can be changed;
8. Throughout the edge of the cosmetic bag lace is inserted through the plucked places of the fabric;
9. Further it is recommended to manually sew the bottom along the edge.

Stages of making cosmetic bags:

2. After 40 pieces of strips are sewn together, they are sewn to the textile base diagonally above and below. Prior to this, two identical parts with a diameter of 11 cm are cut with a compass. One of them is so far laid aside;
3. When the strips are sewn to the bottom, you can sew the strips from the upper side. To do this, cut a rectangular strip, which on one side is sewn first to forty strips, turns out and zipper is sewn to it. Secret zipper connects to the product inside; in parallel, under the braid of lightning, there is a seam connecting 40 strips;
4. The cover is sewn. The round part for her is already cut out. A second round part of the same diameter is cut, which will be located on the inside of the lid of the cosmetic bag;
5. Before both round parts are sewn together, the front side of the cap is decorated with a patchwork pattern;
6. Then, finally, both sides of the lid are sewn together, where an invisible zipper is laid around the perimeter. She, as never before, turns out to be secret.
