Engineer from England Colin Förz invented a unique motorized stroller. This is a truly progressive choice for parents who prefer an active lifestyle. Innovative "vehicle" is equipped with an engine having a power of 10 hp. The stroller can reach maximum speed in a record time - thirty seconds.
To date, this vehicle has been given the honorary title of “the fastest stroller on the planet.” Most recently, 33-year-old Colin Furz became a dad, so he knows firsthand about the problems that young parents face. The newly appeared dad decided to create a motorized wheelchair and immediately got down to business.
The engineer used a steel frame from a standard baby carriage and mounted the motorcycle engine on it. Then he designed a special platform for the driver. “I often see the envious glances of mothers and fathers who have to use ordinary wheelchairs, especially when climbing a hill,” the inventor shares his impressions.
Control, braking and acceleration is carried out by the lever, which is located on the handle of the stroller. During the development of the project, Fears slightly improved the stroller. For example, replaced the wheels from the skayboard, not working quite rationally at high speeds. The cradle for the baby had to be upholstered with metal sheets instead of cloth.
“Probably the stroller looks crazy. However, it has everything you need. Only four weeks and the perfect stroller is ready, ”says Colin Förz. The creator of this miracle of technology is still afraid to carry his own child in this monster, preferring to roll a baby doll.
