  • egg;

Cooking method

  1. For any cooking method, we need to chop pita bread. Usually squares are made with sides of 10 by 10 cm. If you need very small tartlets, for example, for caviar, then we do even less.
  2. For the first method, put a piece of pita bread in a mold for muffins. Lubricate with vegetable oil, cover with another piece so that the corners do not match. It is also slightly lubricated. Bake in the oven at 200 for several minutes until the edges are lightly browned.
  3. For the second method, we need the same pieces of dough and a little beaten egg. Turn the glasses over on a baking sheet, put a piece of tortilla on top of the bottom, press. Lubricate with egg and cover with another piece of pita bread. Press again. Bake for several minutes in the oven, remove the baskets from the glasses.
  4. For the third method you will need cheese. We put a piece of pita bread in a mold, sprinkle with cheese, cover with another flat cake, press, send for a moment in the microwave. You can cook tartlets in the oven. The main thing is not to overdry.

It is convenient to cut pita bread with ordinary scissors. If the cakes are slightly dried, then you can sprinkle them with water, put in a bag and warm them slightly in the microwave.

Puff pastry tartlets

Very tasty homemade tartlets that can be combined with any salty and sweet fillings. We use the dough without yeast, otherwise it will not work. It is also important to remove it from the freezer in advance so that it thaws well and there are no problems with rolling. There are three cooking methods.

Ingredients

  • puff pastry;
  • egg.

Cooking method

  1. Roll out puff pastry to three millimeters. With a large cup or cutting, we cut out the circles. We put it in molds, straighten the edges. We make a lot of punctures on the bottom. Bake at 200 degrees until tender.
  2. Cut the same circles as in the previous version. Turn the glasses over, grease the bottom with a drop of oil, cover with dough and press. For small tartlets we use piles. Bake until tender.
  3. Roll out the dough and cut a stack of small circles up to five centimeters. We do the quantity that we need. Each tartlet will have one tartlet. From the rest of the dough we make ribbons centimeter wide. Lubricate the mugs with an egg, lay out the edge of the ribbon along the edge. We bake baskets also at 200 degrees.

There are other ways to form tartlets from puff pastry. Sometimes they are made in the form of envelopes, pies with a hole, wicker baskets.
