Now we are freezing a lot of vegetables and fruits. This method of harvesting is just perfect - it does not require the addition of sugar, salt and other preservatives. The products are natural and retain the maximum amount of healthy vitamins.

Of course, this blanking method requires a freezer in the refrigerator or a separate freezer. It is good that almost everyone has the opportunity to freeze. You can store a lot of vegetables and fruits in the freezer. We have frozen some of them before, and some of them will be put in the freezer for the first time.

Frozen corn is just a universal preparation - you can add it to a delicious salad, cook pizza, scrambled eggs or a closed pie.

You can also cook various vegetable stews, vegetable soup or diet casserole with it.

What you need to freeze corn beans:

  • Sweet corn on the cob
  • Water
  • Ice cubes

And:

  • Pan
  • Sharp knife
  • Bags for freezing

Cooking:

Choose sugar varieties of corn, it is not only very tasty, but the cooking time is only 15-20, since it usually boils for 2-3 hours. We clean the corn from hairs and green leaves. With a sharp knife, cut the grain.

You may spoil the first row of grains, but then things will go easier. Just cut row after row, slowly moving in a circle.

Pour the grains into boiling water and cook for 3 minutes, during which time individual grains will be completely ready.

We filter and fill with cold water, pour in ice cubes.

After the corn has cooled, pour it into a colander. Excess liquid during freezing harms food and the freezer.

We expect half an hour or an hour, not only should the water drain from the grains, but they should also dry out a little. For freezing, sprinkle the corn with one layer on a tray and send it to the freezer.

We pour in bags for freezing or in containers and return to the freezer.

Corn can be put in the freezer and on the cob, it will be just as tasty, but it takes up a lot of space, which does not suit everyone.

So we have prepared a tasty and healthy freeze. How you will store it - it doesn’t matter, the main thing is not to defrost the corn and not to freeze it again - this will ruin the taste and color of the corn.
