There is an opinion that in men's fashion there are no noticeable trends and it is static. It seems that at a time when girls are choosing the right length for a skirt or coat color, it is much easier for men - gray hoodies, blue jeans and black coats are always relevant.

However, trends in men's fashion still exist. At our latitudes, a strong half of humanity is afraid to follow them, casting the idea that fashion is a female path. We take the initiative in our own hands and study the trends for men from close range in order to navigate well the purchases for our boyfriend in the coming fall-winter 2012/2013 season.

Relaxed fit

Unlike women's fashion, in men's everything changes much more slowly. There are changes, but they can take more than one season or even a year. One of these “protracted” trends can be called a relaxed fit, which is characterized by smooth lines of silhouette and the presence of some kind of informality: even when a man has put on a business suit, it seems that he is going to go to a party in it ...

Prints from head to toe

There is nothing sacred to a man than his trouser suit. The trends of this season, which can be seen on the catwalks, indicate that the costume does not have to be the usual brown, black or dark blue. Clothing with geometric patterns is increasingly found in women's and men's collections.

A palette of colors in men's fashion

Based on the presented men's collections, Pantone, a company standardizing colors and shades, has compiled a list of the most common that will become very fashionable in the near future: dark blue, dark green, dark brown, terracotta, orange, two shades of gray (smoky and titanium), honey and yellow-green. Most men prefer a less vibrant color scheme, which in the new season can hardly be called gloomy.

Hussar trousers

If in the old days only bohemian people were allowed to wear crumpled trousers, now anyone can put on them without any consequences for themselves. The shape of men's trousers has slightly changed, as it has also undergone a relaxed cut style. Now they began to look more like hussar pants - the same loose in the hips, baggy and belted with a tight leather belt.

Velveteen

Ladies prefer velvet, and gentlemen prefer velveteen. A man dressed in a cage velvet trouser suit remotely resembles the hero of a detective novel about Sherlock Holmes.
